Who is this person who wants to be your celebrant?

I'm a proud west country girl with a big heart and a small rescue dog.

I am known for being warm and smiley, as well as making a killer mojito. I've wingwalked, learnt how to save a stranded whale and will soon be trekking up Snowdon at night. I believe that life can always be improved with a glass of prosecco and a slice of cake.

I want to help others experience ceremonies that live long in the memory

My passion for words and stories can be traced back to school. Yes, I was that girl who revelled in creative writing and was secretly hoping to have her stories shared with the class.

My introduction to celebrancy dates back to my brother’s wedding in 2005. I still remember waking up the next day feeling part of their ‘love bubble’.

Here’s a pic of me and my big bro on his big day. (I know what you’re thinking…I haven’t changed a bit!)

My dream became to help others experience these feelings and enjoy such lasting memories.

Looking back on my 20+ year corporate marketing career, the biggest buzz came when getting to know clients, writing and presenting. All of which brought me the confidence and experience to capture a story, and share it in a way that touches and connects with others.

My ‘second career’ just had to be as a celebrant!

I chose Dee for my vow renewal after seeing her leading my friend's wedding. She has a lovely, warm demeanour, possesses grace, charm and humour and has a wonderful way with words. She brings a joyful presence to the celebration, filling it with smiles whilst also keeping everyone feeling calm and reassured that all will go well.
